Currently hiring: Part-Time Telehealth Psychologist

Thank you for considering applying to Premier Psychology Group! We are seeking a part-time (5-9 hours/week) licensed psychologist (with a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree) to remotely work with adolescents and/or adults in a thriving small group practice. The practice is comprised of doctoral-level psychologists who are warm, thoughtful, and integrative clinicians. This opportunity is ideal for a Massachusetts-licensed psychologist who has a part-time or full-time job or other responsibilities and would like to engage in additional clinical work on their own schedule and from their own home. Alternatively, if you are eligible for licensure in Massachusetts (i.e., you have completed licensure hours and passed the EPPP exam) and willing to submit a licensure application, you are welcome to apply for this position.

All therapy is provided remotely, using a secure video platform the practice will provide for you. Hours are flexible, though for adolescents, afternoon, evening, and weekend appointments are generally preferable. You would be welcome to see 5-9 clients per week, depending on your interest and availability. The practice takes care of obtaining and vetting referrals, client paperwork, and billing. You would solely be responsible for scheduling and seeing your clients and maintaining clinical notes. Administrative duties are very light! Clinical consultation and support are consistently available and provided on an as-needed basis. This practice is quickly growing and is looking to hire a highly qualified applicant to begin working immediately. Competitive pay is provided on a fee-for-service basis through a payroll service. You would be hired as a W-2 employee, meaning the practice will pay taxes that you would otherwise be responsible for if you were an independent contractor or self-employed.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree from an accredited and reputable university

  • Licensed in Massachusetts or license-eligible (i.e., completed licensure hours and passed the EPPP) and willing to get licensed in Massachusetts

  • Substantial clinical experience with adolescent and/or adult populations, including at training sites such as college counseling centers, hospitals, academic medical centers, and schools

  • Ability to seamlessly and thoughtfully employ both exploratory (e.g., psychodynamic) and skills-based (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT) approaches

  • Proactive, ambitious, detail-oriented approach to work

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Confidence in clinical skills coupled with a desire to continue learning and growing
